2018 Resolutions

2017 really kicked my ass. It went by so fast and honestly took an emotional toll on me. So while I was out at Disneyland, the DJ told us to shout out our resolutions. I haven’t even thought about it then. Usually, I just say get fitter, eat better and all the basic things every one says.

Well, I finally have some time to think about my resolution and I have concluded to being happy. Feeling emotional I’d not doing it for me, and I really want to find my happy place. Of course, being happy is the broadest statement any one can make, so let me put HOW I am going to be happy.

  1. Travel Solo- I have never travelled solo besides that time in New York, which I don’t count because it was only a few hours. I just like the idea of going where I want without having to take into consideration what other people want.
  2. Dance My Butt Off– Dance is the only class I will show up to at my gym. It is fun and totally exhausting. I feel sore after all the pliates. I think I like that as a form of exercise, but most importantly, as a form of expression.
  3. Blog Some More– I have kept up with blogging, and I am proud of myself for doing so. I tend to stop after I get bored. This is good for me though. I bottle so much inside of me. This is my tool to communicate with myself and to think positively.

So those are my resolutions for this year, measurable things to do. I say this every year, but 2018 will be a big year of internal change, and caring more about myself.
