Hi Wonderers,
I love food and eating, but just as important, I like to wander. You can only eat so much, right? When I am in a new city, especially when careless, my step count spikes. I am motivated to see it all, because you never know if/when you will return.
Montreal is so beautiful. There is so much art around the city. I saw many many murals and art statues. Walking is easy when you have things to distract you. You can tell the citizens really care for their city.
Also, while Montréal is very modern. There is so much detail around the city. Religious/memorial statues are around churches and in parks. You just have to pay attention.

Next, it is hard to miss all the cute cafes. I am thinking this comes from the French influence, because there is an abundance of cafes. From what I could see, there was always customers coming in and out of the shop. Maybe the people of Montreal like to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee throughout the day.

Below is a list of what we did. However, it was mainly walk around the streets and sit at parks. There are plenty of those too.
- Notre Dame Basilica
- Chinatown
- Old Montreal
- Old Port
- Jeux d’Évasion QUESTION Escape Rooms
- Mount Royale Park
- La Rue St. Denis
- St. Helen’s Island
This city isn’t big, but there is a peaceful charm to it. Everyone is so nice too. I don’t know if that is a Canadian thing, but you can feel the welcoming nature from everyone. I absolutely love Canada and I can’t want to return.
Ciao,
Amy
