Hi Wonderers,
I hope you all had a good weekend. I had an amazing weekend. I took a brief trip to meet my nephew. I knew I would be happy, but I didn’t realize how happy.
When I hugged him, I felt so much joy and was so proud when he fell asleep in my arms TWICE. My mom took a picture of me smiling behind my mask. I had the biggest smile, my eyes were super squinty.
We had to be careful with him, just in case, with COVID. We made it an hour meet and greet, but I couldn’t stop gushing over him. The innocence of a child is just so special. Nothing can irritate you. All of a sudden you have the best patience in the world.
The other thing is you want to give him the world, make sure he is happy. Sigh. I wish I had the chance to spend the whole day with him.
The rest of the weekend, I spent a lot of time with my parents, which I appreciated the moments a lot. I was super tired and had to take many seated breaks, but I also want to give them the world. They have sacrificed so much and it is time for them to enjoy their lives.
I would post pictures, but I don’t believe in posting pictures of children without the parents’ permission. You will have to trust me that my nephew is sssuuupppeeerrr cute.
